Jay B. Downey

JAY B. DOWNEY IS A MANAGING DIRECTOR OF THE DOWNEY GROUP, INC. Mr. Downey provides life insurance planning for individuals, and multi-life insurance planning for large professional firms. Mr. Downey specializes in the design, administration, and service of large multi-life programs.

Mr. Downey joined The Downey Group in December of 1995, after working as a loan officer at a local bank. A native of Champaign, Illinois, he received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a veteran of the armed forces, where he served as a medical specialist for three years. Mr. Downey is a qualifying and life member of the Million Dollar Round Table, the Champaign Area Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He is a life member of the University of Illinois Alumni Association, and previously served on the Board of the Don Moyer Boys & Girls Club. His interests include playing golf, softball and basketball, coaching various youth sports, and hunting and gardening.
