Paul E. Donohue

PAUL E. DONOHUE, MBA joins The Downey Group as a Marketer. Paul has a diverse and extensive media, sales, and executive management background in the broadcasting and financial services industries. He began his career in Chicago at WGN radio, and then crossed into television where he worked as a news reporter, sports anchor, and primary news anchor.

Paul's sales and management career included Station and General Manager duties at three network-affiliated stations in three states prior to joining the financial services industries. Most recently, Paul served as Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing for two multi-billion dollar financial services holding companies headquartered in Champaign-Urbana, IL.

A native of Park Forest, IL Paul is a graduate of Southern Illinois University – Carbondale (BS, Communications) and the University of Illinois (Executive MBA). Mr. Donohue serves on the board of the Provena Covenant Medical Center Foundation, Chicago Baseball Museum Advisory Board, and Executive MBA Alumni Association Advisory Board. He is an active Rotarian, and past Board member of the United Way of Champaign County, the Urban League of Champaign County, and the Champaign-Urbana Schools Foundation. Mr. Donohue also produces and hosts a cable television program through Parkland Community College called Dollars & Sense.

Mr. Donohue is an active and past member of numerous professional associations including active membership with the National Association of Insurance Financial Advisors (NAIFA).
